Sports Strength & Conditioning · Dublin 8
Strength & Conditioning Built for Your Sport.
Sports performance training for competitive and amateur athletes: GAA, rugby, football, tennis, golf, swimming and more. Faster, stronger, harder to injure, coached in a private Dublin studio.
What It Is
Sports performance training that transfers to the pitch, court, pool and course.
Lifting for a sport is different from lifting for the mirror. Our strength and conditioning programmes are built around the demands of your sport and your position, coached by staff with backgrounds in high-performance sport in our private Dublin 8 fitness studio on Bride Road.
- Strength and conditioning programmed for your sport, your position and your season
- Speed and power development: sprinting, jumping, change of direction
- Injury prevention and return-to-play support, aligned with your physio where relevant
- Quarterly performance testing, so progress shows up in numbers
Not training for a sport? Semi-private personal training uses the same coaching standard for general strength and fitness goals.
How It Works
From assessment to performance.
Every athlete starts with data. Every block ends with proof it worked.
Consult & Testing
We talk through your sport, your season and your history, then baseline your strength, speed and power so the programme starts from facts.
Train Your Block
Coached sessions in the private studio, programmed around your fixtures and training load. Technique first, intensity built progressively.
Retest & Progress
Quarterly performance testing shows exactly what improved. The next block is built on those numbers, not on how the last session felt.
Who It’s For
Built for people who compete.
GAA, rugby, football and field-sport players
Club or county, you need strength that holds up in the last ten minutes. We programme for the demands of your position.
Court and racket-sport athletes
Tennis, badminton, squash and volleyball demand sharp footwork and repeat power. Our coaching team includes a former professional volleyball player who has run national-team workshops.
Athletes coming back from injury
Progressive return-to-play programmes that rebuild strength and confidence, so the comeback lasts longer than the layoff.
Teams and clubs
Squad S&C sessions and technique workshops in a private studio, tailored to your sport and your players’ positions.
FAQ
Questions about sports S&C in Dublin.
What does a sports S&C programme involve?
Your programme is built around the demands of your sport and your position: strength work, speed and power development, movement quality, and conditioning that transfers to the pitch, court, pool or course. We test performance quarterly so you and your coach can see exactly what’s improving.
Do I need to be an elite athlete to train here?
No. We coach competitive and amateur athletes alike: club GAA and rugby players, footballers, tennis, badminton and squash players, swimmers, golfers, runners and five-a-side regulars. If you play a sport and want to perform better or stay injury-free, the programme is built to your current level.
Do you work with teams as well as individual athletes?
Yes. Croí Evolve runs team strength and conditioning sessions and workshops in our private Dublin 8 studio, including technique-focused sessions tailored to specific positions. Contact us to discuss what your squad needs.
Can you help me return from an injury?
Yes. Return-to-play support is a core part of our sports S&C coaching. We build progressive programmes that rebuild strength and confidence around the injured area, working alongside your physio’s guidance where relevant. Injury prevention work is baked into every athlete’s programme.
Where do the sessions take place?
All sessions run in our private studio on the 3rd floor of Iveagh Fitness Club, Bride Road, Dublin 8 — beside Christchurch, 5 minutes from the city centre and an easy reach from Portobello and the Liberties. No Iveagh Fitness Club membership is required.
